Our child care enrolment process includes an enrolment form that must be completed with your child’s details and a signature. Our opening hours
Safe 'n' Sound Day Nursery opens promptly at 7:30am and closes at 6:00pm. We ask parents to adhere to these times as we do charge a late pick up fee. We will always try to contact parents and other contacts using the information on the enrolment form.
Information on fees
Fees are payable for the contracted days/hours. These agreed fees can be paid weekly/monthly and we ask that payments are paid in advance by voucher, cash or bank transfer. Services will be withdrawn if there is a failure to make these payments. You will be notified of any increase or change in fees.
Our medical health policy
Our exclusion policy follows the guidelines of the education authority for communicable diseases and illnesses. Our staff are qualified to administer first aid and parents will always be informed of any injury. We will administer prescribed medication; parents are asked to complete a medicine form and inform us of any allergies and treatments.
What to do about a complaint
All complaints are taken seriously and we aim to deal with them efficiently. If you feel that your complaint has not been resolved, then please discuss it with the manager. You can make a formal complaint in writing and you will receive a written invitation to a meeting with the management team to discuss the matter further.
Violence against staff
Violence or abusive behaviour against staff will not be tolerated and will result in your child’s place being terminated. Violence at work is an incident where staff are abused, threatened or assaulted by a parent or child under our care. Violence includes physical force, verbal abuse, threats, rude gestures, innuendo, and sexual or racial harassment.
Termination information
Here at Safe 'n' Sound Day Nursery, your contract is effective from your child’s start date and we require one month’s notice if you wish to terminate this agreement. We do reserve the right to terminate any contract with immediate effect if any of the clauses listed online or in in the terms and conditions are broken.
